The Closet @ Our Village
Formerly My Aunts Closet founded in 2003 this low-cost/free clothing store has been a staple in Okeechobee. Eligible families can receive free clothing for school, in emergencies, job interviews and more.
Why?
The Closet has been operating since 2003, when the previous executive director retired, there was no one to take up the mantle of running operations. Since 2021 we have placed The Closet under the Our Village umbrella of services to allow the public to continue to shop for low-cost clothing and to allow eligible families to continue to receive free clothing.
What?
The Closet is a low-cost/free clothing store with a boutique, men's clothing, woman's clothing, infant and child clothing, shoes, and jewelry. We also have a One for One program where mothers can exchange one item of baby clothing that may not fit their child anymore and exchange it for a bigger outfit. *Up to one years old* We accept clothing donations year round, a portion of sales from The Closet also supports Our Village Okeechobee operations.

Saturday 10am-2pm
