Okeechobee Long Term Recovery Group

The Okeechobee Long Term Recovery Group(OLTRG) is a disaster recovery group which assists Okeechobee County residents who still have unmet needs from Hurricane Milton. The OLTRG connects clients to rebuild/repair programs, mental health support, insurance support, direct assistance and more.

Why?

In late 2024, in the wake of Hurricane Milton, Our Village Okeechobee in collaboration with the American Red Cross created the Okeechobee Long Term Recovery Group. We assist Okeechobee residents in finding resources that will get them to where they were before the storm.

Who?

Okeechobee county residents who owned or rented their home during Hurricane Milton​ and sustained damage. *Must be primary residence*
